David Lighty was born in Cleveland but immortalized in Columbus — he ended his career at Ohio State with the most games played in D1 history. A hustle player who did a bit of everything on both ends of the floor, he was part of the iconic “Thad Five” recruiting class for the Buckeyes in 2006. After five years with the Buckeyes, David played professionally in Italy and France, winning four French Pro A championships and a finals MVP with ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne. He joined his lettermen co-hosts Aaron Craft and Jared Sullinger in representing “Carmen’s Crew” at The Basketball Tournament.
