Austin Johnson is Rutgers royalty, through and through. As a player, he shot better than 50 percent from the floor in three of his four seasons in scarlet, and enjoyed a career outing over Notre Dame in his final college game. As an alumnus, he filled in on broadcasts after the passing of Rutgers’ iconic radio voice Joe Boylan. Austin’s passion for his school has inspired much of his post-basketball life, from settling in the Tri-State Area to sitting on the board of Knights of the Raritan, the NIL collective pushing Rutgers into the next era of college basketball.
Geo Baker has been a Rutgers regular since starting for the team as a freshman. In five seasons in Piscataway, he established himself as a true workhorse, playing more than 32 minutes a night across 145 games. Geo earned All-Big Ten honors as a junior, and crowned his senior year with a 25-point, zero-turnover comeback win over no. 16 Ohio State. He retired from basketball in 2022, and now works alongside fellow Knight Eric LeGrand in technology and financial initiatives to connect Rutgers alumni.
