Brandon Paul

Brandon Paul is an Illini lifer who has played pro basketball across the globe. After winning 2009’s Mr. Illinois Basketball award, BP joined the Fighting Illini and made an instant impact. By the end of his senior season, Brandon had claimed multiple program records and became just the second player in school history to put up 1,500 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists and 100 steals. After graduation, he played for the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs as well as professional clubs in Russia, Spain, Turkey, China, Greece and Australia. His game-winner in the 2013 Big Ten Tournament sent the city of Chicago into full-throttle turn-up mode.
