Derek Elston grew up in Tipton and made his name in Bloomington. He played for Indiana from 2009-13 and shot an absurd 55 percent on threes as a junior. In his senior season, the Hoosiers won the Big Ten Championship and Derek earned All-Big Ten academic and sportsmanship honors. He also served as Director of Player Development for the basketball program, and played professionally in Portugal and England. Derek is one of “The Indelibles,” a group named by the iconic voice of Jim Nantz during the 2013 NCAA Tourney.
