Raphael Davis was a brick-wall defensive stalwart at Purdue, repeatedly named to Seth Davis’ famous “All-Glue Team.” As just the eighth Boilermaker ever to put up 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 200 assists, Raph has been credited with rebuilding the program’s culture after its 2014 last-place finish. The three-year captain was born in nearby Fort Wayne and continues to kindle his lifelong passion for Indiana sports as a Big Ten analyst. He is perhaps best remembered for addressing the Mackey faithful on senior night with his daughter in his arms.
